''Jazz Messages'' is a 1954 LP release featuring tracks by Clifford Brown's All Stars and The Jazz Messengers with Art Blakey. It was released on Jazztone Records (catalog #J-1281). It is currently out-of-print.
On this album Clifford Brown's All Stars featured Clifford Brown (trumpet), Zoot Sims (saxophone), Bob Gordon (saxophone), Stu Williamson (valve trombone), Russ Freeman (piano), Carson Smith (bass), Joe Mondragon (bass), and Shelly Manne (drums). The Jazz Messengers featured Art Blakey (drums), Jackie McLean (alto saxophone), Bill Hardiman (trumpet), Sam Dockery (piano), and Spanky DeBrest (bass).
Track titles are: "Gone with the Wind," "Tiny Capers," "Joy Spring," "Blueberry Hill," "Dahoud," "Once Upon a Groove," "Touche," and "Ritual."
